Learner-centered curriculum allows us to tweak and modify learning based on the individual child. This ensures no child is left behind in progression. We are committed to enhancing each child's uniqueness and individuality. This way we do not take away from who they were born to be, instead we add to it.  

The islands is known for it's nourishing and enriching cuisines. Food is responsible for nearly 40% of a child's growth and development. Proper intake of foods can create better health, enhance learning intake, sleep and behavioral patterns. Our meal plans consist of home cooked meals with a taste of grandma's cooking (fun foods are also included). We also believe in allowing children to take control of their plates. This means our kids can be little helpers in the kitchen when appropriate.

Growing and change can be quite the ordeal! Part of our core belief is that all children experience growth and emotions differently. We have designed our education, day-to-day planning, and "discipline policy" around the belief that children are adults in training. This means allowing children to actively feel their emotions while encouraging them to shift how they display them. Our differences are what makes us all beautiful. 

Self-management is a necessary component of today's world. Our "Reflection Area" allows children to have a safe space to gather themselves and reflect on next steps. They have the option to do so alone or with their caregiver. Developing social and emotional intelligence is a necessary part of life others tend to overlook.

Our curriculum is designed for families that wish to be apart of their children's learning environment. Your family is our family. We welcome you to join our family for movie nights, camp out sessions and our little trips around town. We encourage parents and siblings to be integrated with our children's learning experiences.  We are here for you!

As Floridians with Caribbean origins, we thrive in nature. This is a love we wish to share with our children. Upon joining each child is gifted with a plant to care for during the week. This teaches children a fun sense of responsibility and gentleness. Our family day care is also home to a school of fish for the whole class to care for and enjoy.

The world is our community. This means all caregivers are responsible for the nations next, well, everything. We gladly accept this responsibility. We include our faith in God in all we do. By example, children are taught to move by faith and dream big with support all around. We instill values such as  love, joy, peace, giving, self-control, faithfulness and gentleness. Values in school should match values in the home to ensure consistency in a child's growth. 

Our children must grow into innovative and thoughtful leaders. To accomplish that goal we must create an environment that mirrors and embraces the importance of learning about a variety of cultures, backgrounds and religions.  Children learn from an early age that diversity is okay.

We know being a parent is a rewarding and exhausting job all at the same time. Paradise Academy offer's a "Parent's Night Out" as a part of your tuition. This well-oiled-machine called Parenting only works if balanced, therefore, we are here for you too. "It takes a village to raise a child" - we are a part of your village.
